On Saturday September 16, 2023, Urban Farming teamed up with our partners at Home Depot to procure a grant from Home Depot for A Place Called Home. The grant supported APCH to replace mulch, build new raised boxes, and plant donated vegetable plants in their educational gardens.

The APCH middle school urban farmers planted the remaining vegetables on Thursday, September 21, 2023 during their Greener Gardens class time.

Earlier this year, in April, Urban Farming teamed up with Bonnie Plants and donated 1,600 plants and 400 packs of organic seeds for 100 residents in the area as well as 300 plants for the APCH gardens.
